Shane Edward Grogg / Mendocheeto Design
Shane Edward Grogg AKA Mendocheeto is an award winning poster artist, airbrush painter and graphic designer residing in Mendocino Co of Northern California.
Raised in MD he migrated west in 1990 to California and spent 25 yrs in San Francisco before relocating to the northern town of Laytonville, located in the famed Emerald Triangle along US 101.
He is a 6 time winner of the Haight Ashbury Street Fair poster from 1994-2015 and is the official poster artist for SF's famous " Jerry Day" celebratation since 2009.
He has produced and designed artwork, posters, stage scenery and merchandise for The Grateful Dead, Dark Star Orchestra, The Motet, The Wood Brothers and many other local and national musical acts and venues.
He also produces posters, artwork and logos for dozens of cannabis related farms and events, including the prestigious Emerald Cup and it's sister event The Harvest Ball.
Shane is also an accomplished airbrush painter . He produced large album covers for Tower Records and for W.E.T. Studios in SF, working on concert backdrops , stage scrims and large scale murals and installations. He has designed and produced dozens of parade floats and created VIP rooms and backstage ambiance for Another Planet Entertainment , working both small concerts and major festivals.
Shane lives in Mendocino County w his two black labs Charlie and Delilah. When not creating posters he works full time at the Milo Foundation Dog Sanctuary In Willits, CA.
